Geoff--I've noticed that about the airport readings here too.

While some of us are freezing, the others enjoying the warm days...I, for example, would immediately exchange for the warmer places as there is never too hot for me; Jordan, it seems to me that it is difficult for you to stand such unbearable heat

Ahhh, heat and I do not mix well ... in that I suspect I may be like Jordan. Nice pics, Branka! What is the flowering plant? Seems like an odd time for something to be blooming. (LOVE that picture, though!)

Here at my folks's place we had a, relatively minor, blizzard the day after I arrived and have had at least a brief snowfall each day.

The sun did deign to make a cameo appearance the other morning, however.

Paul, I think this is winter-flowering viburnum. Photo was made by the frozen lake, where the children had skate.
Nice pics and this little black creature is just great!

LOVE that squirrel, Branka! Such BIG, LONG hairy ears! We have two kinds here...Large gray/brown and small gray/white ones. Mine get pecans every morning, like clockwork.

Great shots from both of you Branka and Pavel. We are having our cool(?) season now 78 - 80F daytime. This time of year is very pleasant because the humidity is lower and we don't feel sticky -

Well, after 84*F two days ago, we will have a high of 48*F today, rain forecast, and down to freezing tonight. Ick...I hate cold gray drizzly days.
