Beautiful pictures everyone! I only wish there were spring flowers here. All my stuff comes in April or later and people around here don't seem to plant Spring bulbs. I have to count on what the Greenhouse provides for my flower fix. AL

Here's a picture of Magnolia japonica, this is one of the biggest I've seen in town. Fills the air with a beautiful perfume smell. Unfortunately all of them are done blooming now, I would say this photo is 2 weeks old.

Thought I would share this with everyone. Last year this plant didn't bloom well, but this is what I was greeted with this morning. Unfortunately the flowers don't even last a full day, but they are beautiful. Neomarica northiana (Walking-Iris)

Thanks for the spring pics! Daffodils - mmmmmm. Shane your walking iris is lovely - mine won't bloom until later this spring. Mine is old - at least 15 years in the same basket. It is full of baby Carolina wrens right now.
Bruce, your plum tree is gorgeous! Our neighbors raised bees and they told us the bees didn't fly well in temps below 70 degrees. Maybe that's why no bees in your pics?
Branka, are those crocus and snowdrops?

Great pics guys! The winter can sure be long and cold (we had two storms here in Phiadelphia of over a foot of snow) but there's nothing better than witnessing the earth come back to life in spring.

Those are very pretty, Shane. Thanks for posting the picture...It's great to see Spring arrive. The frogs are out, so that means we'll soon see snakes. Spring is a mixed bag...Betty

Tami, I'm pretty sure thats true. I rarely see bees flying here if its under 60 F, some of the larger bees will be resting in the sun till they can move again.

So beautiful! All of them. It is amazing how quickly everything starts blooming as soon as it warms up just a little.
    Thanks everyone.
