Default Good Lord! One of the most repulsive things I have ever seen .....

Some of you may have already had the misfortune of seeing the "blue" phals that are starting to crop up in some stores. *shudder, shudder**retch, retch* Well it gets worse. The perpetrators of this obscenity are now injecting dyes into dendrobiums, too!

I agree they are ugly! Unfortunately there are more dye colored orchids to come. What is really bad is that some retailers are leading customers to believe that these colors afre natuarls. They are not tellin gcustomers that the next bloom will give them white blooms.

One vendor was selling the damn things at the SEPOS show. Even saw someone walking back to their car with one.

The worst was that Longwood had one on display. It wasn't prominently displayed with the other orchids but it was there. You can imagine some of the comments that crowd made!
