This is a discussion on The Good Morning Thread within the The Outback Terrace Bar forums, part of the Land Plants category; Oh that one is great!!...
Oh that one is great!!
This is a tiny snippet of a video of my amazing Granddaughter, Alexis. She took all over top honors on this performance two weeks ago. The choreographer is from San Fransciso. She flies in, teaches her for a day or two and the rest is all done by video back and forth.
Alexis is in Lakeland this weekend in competition. Keep your fingers and toes crossed. Her passion reduces me to tears, often.
Ok, I have to admit, I never saw this thread, and now I realize I have missed out so much. Good that it was mentioned by so many people in the congratulatory notes to Cathy, I will be now following it regularly.
It is kind of a kooky thread, Amey. Some of the post are to remind me how I should be living my life. Some of the posts are because I've read something on the forum where someone is challenged. Then those posts are for them. Sometimes it is something that just makes me laugh and I share it.

I watched the video - what beauty and talent! I so know what you mean by the tears, Cathy. I don't have grandchildren, but my kids are both incredible - this photo of Henry playing in the Boston Youth Symphony last year makes the tears well up every time I see it. He somehow took it himself with his cellphone, hence the angle.
He's become a young man since this photo was taken. The years go by too fast.
Thanks for letting me share.
