This is a discussion on The Good Morning Thread within the The Outback Terrace Bar forums, part of the Land Plants category; YAY! We have a name...
YAY! We have a name
I don't want them anywhere near my plants...I'd deport it...pretty or not...Betty
Dear Betty: if we want to see some butterflies, we have to bear some caterpillars too
Butterflies suffer population losses; caterpillar is only an intermediate development stage. I wish the butterflies could just skip this development stage in your neighborhood so your property would be surrounded only by beautiful butterflies
BUG! That looks like a bug in a web...cool. Glad I've never seen one here! lol
Branka...I do not kill them...I only DEPORT them. This, means, I carry them to another bush/plant where they can eat & live their life in peace! As far as butterflies...we have all different kinds, so I'm not concerned. We even planted a lot of plants which they love! The catepillars are welome here...but they will get deported to another plant when eating my lemon or lime trees. Betty
Since we are talking caterpillars! At first glance this looks like the most exotic queen of the caterpillas...but in reality beautiful European bee-eaters
WOW! Those are wonderful, beautiful little birds...Betty
