I have "promised" my wife that I will be good

I am really excited for the change. It looks that I will be working mostly as the POS manager (working with the cashiers, resolving customer service issues, keeping up with maintaining at least part of the POS system). I have been a customer of Wentworth Greenhouses going on three years now (and not just their orchids), so it will be interesting to see it now from the perspective of an employee. So, being in the company of other active and beginning plantsmen (and plantswomen) is exciting in itself for me. Now I have the tough part of resigning my current position (which is a first for me).

Resigning is pretty easy, ATester! I once said, "it's too bad you can only quit a job once!" But then I thought very little of my employer back then. (Still do.)

Congrats on your new position! Exude confidence and welcome. That's what customers want to see. If you don't know an answer, say so confidently, like it's no big deal. You'll wow them, I'm sure!
