    Default The dirt on RVO!!!

First a picture of the dynamic duo in the g/h. They look tired because they spent all day taking me everywhere!

    Here's the swimming hole!

More pics to follow. As for the dirt..... LJA is Louis like the former King of France, not like Lewis and Clark.. And the only dirt around was the ground on which the place is built.

They are the most gracious, open and fun hosts that you can imagine! And the menagerie at their house just adds to the charm. We smiled and/or laughed the whole time. What Fun! (plus we did consume the 2 bottles of liquid I brought - all in one night) BD taught me how to use photo shop, and LJA gave me a catt repotting demo that reassured me tremendously about my own methods. (lets just say his method involed the liberal use of a mallet, and not just on the clay pot!!)

    more tidbits later....

PS - remind me to tell you about the swarm of angry bees!!

OK, this is fun...Thanks for the great pic of your hosts Diane; I feel their personalities radiate from that picture. It sounds like a warm, fun visit, but be careful how great you make it sound, because there are a lot of folks who belong to the Forum! LOL!

It looked like the weather wasn't all that hot while you were there?

    Default What a fun trip!

Sounds like you guys had a blast! Wish that I could have been there....

Anytime anyone is near Fort Worth...let me know and I'll be glad to take you out for a big ole steak, some BBQ and margaritas, or some top notch Mexican food.

Diane, is that dry cat food sprinkled in the swimming hole to create a feeding frenzy?

Glad everyone had such fun! May it be yet one more of many forum field trips to come!

Er...come to Boston and I'll treat you to baked beans and creme donuts!

Yes, BD feeds them dog food. You can not get a perspective of how big they are.. I mean, those are large chunks of dog kibble, not the little kind!

It was VERY HOT with temps at 100+ with the humidity factor. The g/h was bareable only in the mornings an evenings, and I would sweat like a horse! It was very much like tromping around in the tropical americas rain forests in conditions...
