Ok...so, the only thing that now comes to mind is a song by one of the most awesome bands of all time...Queen..."Bicycle Race", I guess Freddy wrote it on response to an all woman naked bike race...or at least that's what I read. And by the way, where I grew up naked just simply means with no clothes on, but 'nekkid' means no clothes and fixin' to get into some trouble...so, yes, I like techno...but not 'half-nekkid'...for those of you who don't know how skinny I am...be thankful.
TPBM knows what a "behonkus" is...

Well the last time I rollerskated I fell on my 'behonkus', in other words my
posterior.
TPBM would love to have a VW 'bug' convertible!

I saw an apple green one today and wished that very wish!
TPBM watched when Haley's Comet went by in the 80's.

True! My grandmother, the one I dedicated my book to, was a biology professor, and I thought she'd be into Haley's comet when it came around in 1986, so I bought her Carl Sagan's Comet for Christmas 1985. It was days later that we learned she had aplastic anemia, which would kill her within three months.
I spent my nights tracking the comet's progress in early '86, before I drove out to PA to be with her for her final month in the hospital before she died in late March '86. It's a sad memory, but not too sad. I know how much my presence with her meant to her (no less to me). And it was a special time we shared, all the more so because she knew she was dying. I love comets, as I expect she did - although we never got to talk much about it - and I still have the book I got her.
TPBM still gets teary eyed thinking of a departed loved one, even though it's been many years.

True, I was privilieged to be with my mother the last 3 months of her life before she died from amatrophic lateral sclerosis at the age of 70. Although I was holding her hand when she entered heaven, I was not able to be with my father who died of a massive heart attack. Daddy was paralyized aat the age of 39 and lived to 83. Although it was many years ago I still get 'teary eyed' when I think of them or see their picture.

False. Oranges don't do too well in the desert. The other day it was 9% RH and when the rain started it went WAY high to 22%. WOW!
We do have lots of Elm and Russian Olive though. Both are considered pest trees here in SCI.
TPBM is not interested in this thread any longer.

True, but they're really the spirits of our ancestors coming back to visit us from the past. I can recommend a good fantasy novel that explains all of the details . . .
TPBM is watching the Tony Awards this evening.
