    False. Our local area has a society, but I would have to take time off work - and I have too much work to do and too many other reasons I have to take time from work ... I did just get a few mounted orchids, though, that are:
    - Haraella odorata;
    - Dryadella edwallii;
    - Masdevallia floribunda;
    - Pleurothallis minotalis (oxios); and
    - Isabella neolauchia virginalis.

    TPBM has good luck with mounted orchids - I hope!

    TRUE! And it's because of YOUR sharp eye, Kathi. The only other orchid I purchased was a Sharry Baby...Not my idea, but Andy wanted it. Thanks again, Kathi!

    The person below me is going on a short vacation soon...Betty :-)

    True - almost. I've got a Bollea ecuadorense on its way.

    TPBM gave up buying orchids during Lent. (Obviously, I didn't do this one!)

    Never believed in atheism, myself.

    Suppose that depends on how early one considers "early". But I believe I would have to answer that as false.

    TPBM worked at an orchid show this weekend or thereabouts.

    false, give it two months and it would be true

    TPBM wants to kill the person at Kew who keeps changing the names of orchids! (case in point : Sophonitis coccinea is now Cattleya coccinea)
