True! the very mild winter we have had (except the last few antarctic conditioned days) has meant that everything from rainbow chard to broad beans (yes, they are flowering, even though there are no bees around yet) have taken off, and we have had an abundance of all sorts!

TPBM has plants that think it is spring in the middle of winter.....

If I lived by you I'd be happy to partake of your surplus, Andrew. As a suggestion, take your surplus to shelters and foodbanks/food pantries (many churches and temples around me have such for the disadvantaged). I have friends who frequently donate to such things and the produce is always welcomed.

Hmmm, I'd have to say false. I can't think of any plants I had blooming over the winter that should not have.

TPBM thought it amusing when reading Jordan's post about how they shouldn't get snow in his area because they are "so far north". LOL (One of those times that circumstance of being in a different hemisphere really requires a switch in perspective)

Sounds like an awesome idea but most of the time they want canned and no perishable goods...i might just set up a little tent and sell some veggies and home canned product. Putting the earnings into my garden for next year

TPBM is worried about our friends in the far East (Viet Nam, Phillipines, etc.) with the horrendous storms they had this weekend.
