September?! That's even worse than us. LOL There is the odd station here or there that will start Xmas songs sometime in October but most not until November. But as far as ads & such .... all the stores here are already pushing Xmas.

You're not alone with your season ending officially at Epiphany -- for Orthodox and Catholic faiths Epiphany officially ends the Xmas season.

    Oh man, I wish!!!

False. If my current unemploment counts as a "rest" period then I already started that months ago.

TPBM made halushki (a slavic dish consisting of onion, cabbage, potato, -- and optionally noodles -- sauteed in butter) for dinner.

False, but im gonna have a go at making Tsubushi, sweet bean paste. Takes a long time...Naoki put me onto it-in a way!

TPBM Just did a mass-insecticide spraying mission....

False, haven't done a mass spraying session in a long time. Probably should do it for good measure, but currently I only spray problems when I see them and not the whole orchid collection.

    Cheers,
    BD

TPBM is having a nice, huge cup of coffee this morning (evening, afternoon... etc.. )

All three! My new found love for orchids is only marginally eclipsed by my love for coffee.

TPBM has a secret desire to learn to tango...

False. I have never watched Dexter. I am, however, recording the "superstar" Next Iron Chef series that starts tonight.

TPBM had a "poopy" experience with a baby this weekend...but loves the little guy anyway!

False - I have enough to take care of now that everything has had to come inside for the winter.

TPBM - can't understand how they've gotten so many divisions of the same Oncidium - and they're all going into spike at the same time - I'm having Ramsey Gowers all over the place........

False. But my (only) Gower is down to one last little flower and now my Twonkles are twinkling up.

TPBM has much to be thankful for this year and will think of it next week on Thanksgiving Day (US).
