True, well, false, well..... I didn't really hope for any orchids right now (that's weird!) because I knew that wouldn't happen, and I'm trying to hold off on buying more untill I get better results from what I've got. But I have seen some spikes these past few days, and THAT has me more excited than getting new orchids!

TPBM had a lovely Christmas day with loved ones and is enjoying the slower pace of the next few days.

True - I sure hope we go in the "better" direction! Here in the good ol' USA, we'll have to go through most of the year in pre-election mode and political wrangling, but we can hope that good will come of it regardless of who ends up in the White House next January.

TPBM is outnumbered at home by those who disagree with his or her political opinions, but know that the orchids agree with him or her!

SOOOOOOO VERY TRUE..............Im an activist, naturalist, liberal while being extremely conservative, i dont hold steady to any religion and believe that the problem isnt in the system nor government but in the people who dont do anything but sit back and make money. I have theories that would blow your mind. People are to comfortable with being slaves and then yell as to why. then point the finger. My family tends to not agree with their religious views but i respect everyone's believe cause it holds deep to a true moral value no matter skew. I use religion as an example because even tho they are separate "church" (or whatever religion/lack of) and "state"(including money/technology) still go hand and hand with one's decisions.

TPBM...sometimes thinks that all this will someday be a place of peace and harmony for our grandchildren. Where nature and humans will overcome bias against each other and our own species?

True, for a male couple . . . unless we adopt a child and convince wholly to my parents that I can not get married to a girl I truly hope the coming generations will overcome bias against each other and nature. It hurts to see that we are living on the remnants of Earth.

TPBM has an issue with orchid(s), currently doesn't know how to overcome the situation with the one which is crying loud to be repotted

False - I live in an area very, very far from nurseries that have anything like orchids. We occasionally see some in a grocery store, but being far away helps me behave. There's always delivery, though, and ... isn't the internet wonderful?!?!

TPBM has flowers on the Bollea ecuadorensis!! Hip! Hip! Hooray!!
