OOPs another double... well, I'll leave the motorcycle question for someone else to answer, and say that I am not a huge fan of most modern art - ie pop art or art that I can't figure out what it is.... Yet I have many works from living artists whose work is beautiful (and comprehensible).

True. I am from Peru and there we have tons of typical dishes made with seafood. From ceviche (raw fish marinated with lime juice and chili) to stuffed crabs, to a more Spanish paella.... mmmm I am gettting really hungry.....

TPBM has a spreadsheet or database with his/her orchids info (date of purchase, last time repotted, last time in bloom, etc)

Yup, I do, as well as my survey data keeping statistical records on a particular colony of Cyps and Goodyera (what can I say, those were the easiest to spot...I'm in year two...but since the buggers don't bloom every year...its going to take a while).

TPBM is STILL waiting to get their passport, and it has already been over the promised 12 week processing time (please at least tell me you haven't missed your trip)

False. I can hardly afford to go to the next town let alone someplace that needs a passport.

TPBM has had major surgery that saved their life.

True, I have had 2 triple by-pass heart surgeries. One in 1980 and the second in 1997. I'm a 'tough old gal'.

TPBM has caught a fish that weighed over 10 pounds.

Yes I did the first being my first fish a 13 lb blue fish I caught trolling in the Chesapeake bay and the second an 11 lb puppy drum in the surf on Okracoke Island in NC.
TPBM thinks grits for breakfast is just wonderful

MMMMmmmm! Especially with brown sugar and raisins! If not that, then salt and butter!

(an aside to ATester: if people think passport processing is slow, try getting a visa to Brazil!!! 4 months, $600 and still waiting)

TPBM believes you are not really an orchid 'grower' until you get one to rebloom

Then I guess I am an orchid grower. The first orchid I ever had, a phal, rebloomed for me and I was hooked! I have had several rebloom since and the thrill is the same every time.

TPBM's favorite fruit is a sweet, juice running down your arms, peach.
