The Doc's of sufficient nerd status that I expect far more. How about 14 different computer languages? Better yet, how about computer games for kids written in assembler??? Come on, Doc - try and out-nerd me on this one!

    Oh dear ...
Okie, you win on this one! You definitely out-nerd me!!! In fact, we will crown you as Queen of the Nerds of the Forum, since you are our most cherished nerdiest member!!! Heheheheeee ... I have to say that I dabbled with C or Pascal in the past but 14 computer languages and assembler??? You win, McJulie!

Oh BTW, Sara's responses about her love rectangular square sounds so much fun ... can we hear more? (Just kidding!!!) ...

All right, now I got to the point, YES, I do like pinneaple upside-down cake!!! I can make it too!

Oopss, (double responses) ... well so for your querry, Bruce, I do have a few tomato plants in the garden, they just grow sometime like weeds around here in California ...

TPBM has tried durian, the most exotic, most delicious but also the stinkiest fruit! (BTW, only "Yes" answers are accepted, heheheheheeee .... "No" answers = PARTY POOPERS)

Yes - I have tried it. Well, I got close enough to smell it and then couldn't get it into my mouth! It looks funny, smells awful, and supposedly tastes wonderful. When I was in Thailand they said "It tastes like heaven, smells like Hell!"

TPBM has been to a grape harvest/crushing

Nope - I'm afraid that there have been no grapes between my toes in the past. I like the wine that comes from them too - and since my recent foray into Beta Blockers I can now drink it again without migraines from hell (sorry if that's too much personal information - but from some of what I read above I think it's pretty tame!)

TPBM has an huge collection of shoes, most of which they just don't wear!

Good grief no! If it's an ordinary one I put sugar on it, if it's pink or red I eat it just like an orange.
TPBM thinks soccer is for wimps.

not exactly - more like for overpaid, overexcited jumped up hooligans who should have been made to earn their money sensibly rather than having it thrown at them by clubs so they can buy another flashy car and ostentatious house.

Not that I have any opinion on the sport... definitely prefer rugby!

TPBM is concerned about climate change

Hah, you were reading my mind. I am partial to soccer ( I played it for years until I was 16 and had to get a job to support the car I got so I could get a job (HEY, that sounds a LOT like life!!)) Anyway, I feel that way about ANY professional sport and college is QUICKLY becoming just as bad.

Climate change happens - get used to it. Are we contributing? Sure, but so has every other creature that existed in all the innumerable climate changes that have occurred in the history of our sphere.

    Edit:

TPBM will have to fix my absent mindedness after forgetting to get off of his soap box. (Thanks)

    *Buzzer sounds!*

Steven didn't continue the chain so I do his job for him . . .

TPB Steven (or me, now) is headed to a social function where they'll have to be polite to someone they can't stand. (Please share all the sordid gossip!)

True - after the fact. Went to a wedding last week. The bride's step mom to be's fiance's ex-wife's son was there. Although the cops were called to break up an altercation between the groomsmen and the wedding party next door (both weddings were at the Officer's Club on the Navy base), this kid was only involved in trying to keep one guy from pushing his wife around - so HIS behaivior turned out much better than expected. With an open bar anything can happen. Darwin and I missed that part of the festivities - hope they got pictures! Oh, and no one ended up in jail, but there was one black eye in the bunch.

    TPBM is excited about something.
