False. I don't know if you would call it a Christmas party. In August of 1993 we flew to Manaus and from there to the jungle city of Cruzedo dol Sul, Brazil.
We went to visit our son, a missionary, his wife and 5 children. We carried many many gift with us. Children's gifts never made it through customs.
Our grandchildren were 3, 5, 9, 11 and 13. That was the most exciting 'Christmas' I ever had.

TPBM has milked a cow the old fashioned way.

True! I grew up on a farm in Texas. We raised cows for milk and meat. As a kid my job was to help with the milking and to shake the butter jug. We did not have a churn, so we put the milk into a large jug and I would shake it forever. My grandmother would scoop off the cream butter as it came together. I thought it was fun!

    TPBM has climbed a mountain.

    Cheers,

True! I say this 'tongue in cheek'. Mount Pleasant is a 250 foot tall
sandstone bluff located in Lancaster, Ohio. It was called Standing Stone by
early native american peoples. As a child I loved to climb the mountain following a marked trail. It was a thrill to wander around the top and look out and see the city and the farmlands stretched out before me.

TPBM has picked wild black raspberries.

We had wild raspberries and blackberries along the edges of the pasture when I was growing up, we tried to beat the birds to them and sometimes we were successful.

True! It's a juniper I've had for years, although this summer he's not feeling very well - dropping needles near the trunk. Advice or suggestions, anyone?

    TPBM can't swim.

False! I used to be a swim instruction at a summer camp, and I love to swim with the fishes in the tropics! Snorkeling is one of my favorite activities...I can't do the scuba thing with all that equipment, its just not natural for humans. I love the feeling of being in the water with the fishes, just a snorkel and a mask...maybe I wish I was a fish!

TPBM is sitting at work right now and wishes they were outside...anywhere other than their desk! (I know I do!)

False, but I did just get home. Going to fix the irrigation pump and then go to my son's house for dinner.

Juniper Bonsai are tough. Since you have had it for years you probably know all the watering rules. Something else that may be troubling it is either it needs a repot or some sort of bug is getting it. Find a local club QUICKLY and get their help. I guess it could also be old growth falling off.

TPBM really REALLY likes for the temperature to be 90+!

Not on your life! I detest high temps. I prefer temps in the 60's or 70's with nighttime temps in the 60's. When it gets in the upper 80's to 90's I start to melt. Matter of fact, I'm still waiting for my A/C to get fixed. It conked out last night. I woke up around 3:30 in the morning because it was far too warm in my bedroom -- about 80 F. Was warm and humid outside so opening a window would not have helped. Unfortunately it still is not fixed so may be a long night.

TPBM believes chocolate is an essential food group.

True! The four basic food groups are: salt, sugar, chocolate and red wine. Salt can be refined into the groups Chips, Nuts, Fries and 'Other'; Sugar has the groups Candy, Cake/Pie, Doughnut Covering, and 'Other'; Chocolate has the groups Dark, Milk, Bittersweet, Belgian, Swiss, French, etc, etc,.. Red Wine is of course divided by varietal and blends...

TPBM Has never caught, cleaned and cooked/eaten a fish all within 1/2 hour
