Tarting themselves up? That sounds like it involves too much cherry lipstick, a stuffed bra, fishnet pantyhose, and stiletto heels.

I'm going to have to say no to that. Although I was in my kilt this morning. But that's more an issue of cross-dressing.

TPBM just finished a really great novel!

TRUE! I just finished David Baldacci's, THE COLLECTORS. I really don't get much time to read for pleasure, so I like to get books on CD and put them in my car. It takes forever sometimes to get the whole story, but I find it a better use of my time when driving to and from work than 'sports talk' or some such. LOL!

    Cheers,
    BD

TPBM has driven a race car. OR would like to do so

Actually, I've ridden in a racecar..but I wasn't driving. The Texas Motor Speedway is just north of Fort Worth and at a charity sponsored event one of the drivers (I'm sorry, I'm not a fan...so I can't remember which one) gave some of us staffers a few spins around the track at about 150 mph. Talk about a ride!

TPBM is thinking about getting a new car.

True. Well, not as much any more. When I was a bartender in my other life it sure made for better tips! That and a good joke or two. Long time ago tho.

TPBM had a bad fright recently.

No, but my husband is and it drives me crazy! You would never believe the
treasures he carries home when he takes his scooter out in the mornings.

TPBM baked an apple pie recently.

No, but I did make Strawberry Jam and Blackberry jam, and am hoping to go autumn raspberry picking soon to get on with some more jamming! I have become very popular at work!

TPBM is feeling slightly icky this morning following a unintentionally long friday night drinks after work at the pub. (not that I am talking about myself here!)
