Quiet New Years eve this year just an early dinner and home to watch the ball drop, last year we did a progressive dinner for 20, we did dessert, it was great fun.
TPBM wraps their presents instead of using gift bags.

Not quite true in the sense of door-to-door (which I love!) But true in that I joined up with friends for an advent lessons and carols service this last weekend in a town an hour away.

That we had a blizzard Sat night and Sun morning, and I spent 2 hours shoveling to make it to the church on Sunday only added to the specialness of the service. We each arrived by force of will - it was a magical event!

    Merry Christmas, Katie!

TPBM is trying to figure out what to do with all of the cards he/she planned to send out...

Send them late, or save them till next year(s)....

True. I guilty every time I get a Xmas card on the mail and think about me not sending mine. This 2007 has been pretty hectic. So busy that this is my first post after probably 3 months without being around the forum.....

TPBM had an early visit from Santa, who left some orchids under the tree

TPBM still hasn't finished Christmas shopping.

Wow! How did I miss this thread? I've been reading through it and enjoying all the stuff immensely.

OK, to respond to Bruce's statement, TRUE! I am always wishing I had more time to get through the stuff I never seem to accomplish.

TPBM thinks having a white Christmas is overrated. (I'm sitting here in Denver and the white crap has been falling all #$%&ing day. Hmm, wonder where I got inspired to ask my question?)
