True We are leaving after xmas, 5 days skiing in Big Sky, then spend 2.5 days in Yellowstone National Park. The temp in Big Sky is -20 degree today, burrrrrr. If it doesn't warm up, we might end up sitting in front fireplace there instead.

TPBM still has turkey leftovers from Thanksgiving sitting in the freezer.

False, with the kids all grown and over with their families, Thanksgiving leftovers are gone that night

TPBM likes snow shoeing in the mountains

False, I can ski but snow is definitely not my element!
So I will pass on the snow-shoeing.

TPBM usually gets orchids as gifts for Christmas.

Oh, yes! Why drink and drive? That one shot of Drambui will last me a year!

TPBM has a newly blooming 'chid that they are just about to post a photo of.

Don't have to be 'non-Christian' for that. I am Christian and I REALLY get irked by the whole commercialism thing.

Oh my! This is not the time of year I would plan on hitting MT or YNP -- & I'm a northerner! LOL On the plus side, if the cold doesn't discourage you, I imagine you'll have the opportunity for some fantastic winter shots (photography)! That part I do envy!

TPBM had a "snow day" today because of the storm system that hit early this morning (for me about 4:30 am)

Hmmm, well since that TPBM was apparently a "dud", let's try...

TPBM made a gift to give someone this holiday season.

    (For example:)

Sort of true, I am working on a scarf for my younger son, but I am not able to finish it tonight, maybe on xmas day. That should still count as xmas present, right?

    Pavel,
Did you make that? I love all hand made ornaments.

TPBM is hosting a new years party with family and friends.

LOL. Yes, Liz I will confess to 'posing as a craftsman'. Made it for a friend of mine. Now the question is: Can anyone actually ID what type of 'critters' are being depicted?

Now back to our regularly scheduled thread............
