Alas, no -- at least not in many, many years.

Actually I am. It's a fantasy novel (part of a series) -- "Child of a Dead God" by Barb & J.C. Hendee. I can't spare the time to read for pleasure during the school year so I have to 'cram in' what I can now.

TPBM likes to attend Renaissance Festivals.

hmm.. across at the park there are usually a couple of folks that practise jousting in their renaissance outfits.. but I guess seeing that is as close as I get to a 'fair' the answer would be false.

TPBM will be doing some orchid hybridising today (i already did a couple yesterday with some Cymbids)

False.....Although I've been thinking about hybridizing for a few weeks now with several of the beautiful phals I have open right now. Seemingly complex part of the hobby to get into, I'd hate to spend weeks killing bloom after bloom.

TPBM really wants to move somewhere with a tropical climate to grow tropical plants and orchids more easily.

Not going to name drop, but as you can imagine, it was my favorite shop before I started working here 3 years go! And without my morning coffee, I consider murder!

TPBM has children underfoot on a daily basis.....(Like Mine!)

False, but may go to the local orchid judging session.

TPBM was surprised by discovering 2 spikes coming on a little baby Phal equestris v. albascens that hardly looks big enough to bloom .

False, I am surprised about a spike out of my Phal Spica though.. me and Phals generally aren't a good match, but fingers crossed for this one. (btw, Congrast on the Phal equestris.. looking forward to the pics )

TPBM buys lots of stuff from the Online Auction site... (wooo hoo, I'm about to pick up a chest of drawers to put my new aquarium in hehehe...)
