Oh dear, for some reason I thought I had uploaded some photos of my trip to texas yesterday, but I don' apear to have done so. Knowming me, I have put them on some completely unrealted thread, so if anyone sees it - Sorry!

I had better go check really.

Anyway, I did take some photos, but frequently forget so there are not very many. However, if any of you are interested in seeing some (although there are far too many of me for my liking....) please click on this link:

Looks like you had a fun trip Kerry! Nice of Texas to make you feel welcome by naming everything after you. :-) Best not to eat at IHOP too often unless you want to look like the average American! You and your hubby sure are a cute couple--I enjoyed looking at your pictures.

And if you thought you were an embarrassing Brit in TX, you should have seen me in London! heehee

Well what's the point in being a tourist if you can't behave like one? And if that means blowing squeaky duck things at passing locals, then I am all for it.

The really embarrassing part would be to tell everyone that whilst we were sitting outside Whole Foods having lunch the day before we left Austin, a duck-mobile full of tourists rolled up to the lights so my husband ran over to the pavement and quacked away at them. At least it wasn't me - I am far too refined to do that sort of thing. hahahaha

No Dancing on Tables - No Eating on the Floor
Now that is a sign we need here in some of our eating establishments! LOL! You guys look like you had so much fun! Maybe that kitty was actually trying to go along with you??

    Cheers,
    BD

(now, I think I want some catfish and hushpuppies for dinner.)

But did you eat the catfish too? I know it may seem kind of strange, but I think the British eat something similar--Monkfish maybe? (I saw the Two Fat Ladies make that once.)
