    Default Remembering Buster

Gin's thread on her new birds http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...-bird-kid.html reminded me of a parrotlette we had for a while.

He was a male and bonded with me, so much so that if anyone came into the room with me he would start nipping at me!!!! He would also yell at Renee all day while I was at work. He was cute and I was even able to teach him to speak sentences but this was too much. I'd like to share a couple of recordings. (I need a place to host a couple of sound files)

First pic to show the beautiful blues he had.
Buster LOVED to give me kisses.
Buster absolutely fell in love with the bowl. He even regurgitated on it to let it know how much he adored it!!!! I was given this "honor" as well. Yummy.

Oh, he was so cute! They can be such loving company. What beautiful colors on his feathers.

    Cheers,

A big bird in a little body I did have a pair of them , so pretty .
The Alexandrine are noisy in the am , talk well , good natured, Simon will go to anyone that you hand him to, not messy as birds go . I have had a lot of different birds they are my favorite . Not well known here, most people get them mixed up with the Indian ringneck, same family but not the same temperment wise or in looks .
