Cypripedium parviflorum var. makasin
This was at the SWROGA show and I was able to capture not only an image of the blooms, but also a fairly clear image of the growing instructions. Enjoy.
Cypripedium parviflorum var. makasin
Cheers,
BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Those remind me of the ones I've seen in the Sierra Mountains. Is it the same species?

My brain is shorting out trying to visualize it.
I have been reading up on cypripediums and trying to learn as much about them since I read that article in the AOS magazine. I want them I want them! hehehe.

There are some good books out there about growing native (and some non-native) cypripediums in the garden. I'm hoping to get them started in my garden next year... BD - you think they'd be kind enough to loan me that amazing plant for a starter That's an amazing specimin! Thanks for the pic.... that's what we call motivation!
