    Default Cyp. parviflorum var. pubescens

    Here is another cypripedium from the SWROGA show. The image is a little blurry, so please forgive me. My camera focused on the sign just behind the blooms. I also photographed the growing instructions for this one, but they were so blurry that I decided to just type it out and save bandwidth.
    Cyp. parviflorum var. pubescens
    Large yellow lady's-slipper
    Native to North America from northern Alabama to Canada.

    Like bright shade

    Medium:
    3 parts perlite
    1 part gravel
    1 part coir *
    * the above information was taken from the sign displayed with this orchid at the SWROGA show this past weekend in Rogers, Arkansas.

    Anyway, here she is:

    Can't see much detail, but the overall colour is so cheerful!
