    Default Maudiae type Paph

This is my first earned paph bloom. This plant was a gift from a friend over a year ago. NOID, but it has the mottled foliage of the Maudiae types.

very nice... looks like a nicely shaped dorsal and the petals are quite wide...

has it been opened awhile? one of our other members has previously mentioned that tipping the plant forward while it is opening its dorsal helps with getting it to stand up more...

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, it's been a couple weeks. I will have to try tilting the pot the next time this guy blooms.

Congrats on getting it to bloom. My insigne (supposedly the easiest in the genus) took me four years finally bloom.

Colours on that one are really nice.
