Default Paph Lady Isabel (roth 'Mont Millais x stonei)

Is it possible to be in love with a plant?

This is a division from EYOF. I received it last Friday, it arrived bareroot and, to my complete surprise, in spike. Luckily the buds didn't abort so here's the first one. It's probably still opening but I couldn't wait any longer to snap a quick picture. Right now the dorsal is 5 cm wide and the NS is 19 cm, a pretty fat lady indeed.

There is another bud so I'll try to post an updated picture in a few day's time.

OH yes! Lovely! Look at the clean lines and that wonderful spacing between the stripe. Stunning!

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Lovely one there!
I was considering one too, last night since I lack multiflorals. I'm not sure how much stonei would make it slower growing

Thank you guys! It's one of my all time favourite orchids. I spent the last 12 months looking for a nice Lady Isabel and then ended up with two in the space of a week

Fren, I've read that these can be a little slow at first so I think a nice one if flower might be the way to go I'm curious to see how I get on with mine. This one has 2 mature growths and a small start and my other one is a seedling with 50 cm leaf span.
