It looks like an plant I have seen before that is maudiae-hybrid x charlesworthii. Plus I have a cross with similar leaves too, though it did not bloom yet.
Thanks for the suggestion, it could indeed be based on a Maudiae 'Coloratum'.
It is not a fast blooming plant. After blooming the plant made its first slip(?) and that did not bloom. After a year this slip made a new slip also with no results. Than, after one more year both slips started blooming almost at the same time.

From Holland indeed, somewhere on the waterway between Rotterdam and the North See-port of Hoek van Holland.

definitely looks to have a heavy charlesworthii influence, as mentioned earlier. probably one of its parents. the other parent will be completely indeterminable without records...there aren't that many commercially-available charlesworthii x vini crosses, but still enough that you won't be able to nail it down.

but the color on this one is quite nice and smooth! and it is definitely dark enough to be considered one of the true vinicolors.

As a true wine-lover as well, i could not resist this Vinicolor when i visited a "Paffie"-breeder here in Holland.

I think that is another charlesworthii cross! I love this second one. It has wide petals and a wide dorsal....and one spike has two blooms!

I am noticing a lot of charlesworthii x maudiae type blooms showing up on the internet from Europe. I think they are more popular in europe than in USA.
