Smile First New Bud Ever-Unknown Paph.

This is kind of funny.I bought some plants about one month ago. They really didn't do much w/Paph.and there were about 10-15 runts that they still had left. Most were without tags.So I was able to pick up 6 of them at a really good price. Two of the plants that I took home weren't labled. The smallest one hardly had any roots to speak of. I place both of the nameless runts together in one pot.Wouldn't you know that the larger of the two is BUDDING !!! It's kinda of like the anticipation before x-mas.I have no idea what it will be ?? This is very cool. :0) Yes, I'm Smiling,Rich

That is so cool, Rich! Good for you. Maybe it will bloom out and give away its identity.

    Cheers,

Wow good deal Rich. What kind of media are you using and while I'm at it the plastic pots aren't S/H pots are they?

The plastic pots are the same containers you get from the deli, for cold salads.Dollar(type) store.I took a razor blade to make my holes.Very well ventalated at the bottom. The mix is a fine mix of bark, peat moss and perlite. It from a fertilizer co.it has a wetting agent or something in it(little yellow balls) I have top dressed all my Paph.s with a layer of Garden Lime(pelletized) I wasn't really sure how much to use.I would say that each plant has about a teaspoon full+ per plant. Thanks Everyone,Rich
