hmmm... i just keep thinking, the green is so reminiscent of primulinum, and the dorsal has an albino maudiae-type paph, and then the petals maybe one of the multiflorals like philippinense...

so maybe this is a cross between Paph Honey and a maudiae-type......

I've gone through the RHS with Paph Honey as a seed and pollen parent but nothing that's conclusive. The following come close though if anyone else is researching this beauty:
    Paph. Lucille Booth
    Paphiopedilum liemianum
    Paphiopedilum Prime Child x Pinocchio
    Paph. Pinocchio x Prime Child
    Paph Roseville
    Paph Caroline Hands
    Paph Lawless Tristan
    Paph Myra

Hello, I'm a very new member and a very new orchid grower. This orchid looks like one I have called Paph venustum. They originally came from the Himalyas. Love this site, cant wait to get better acquainted with it all.

Misschien kun je de groeier waar het vandaan kwam vragen wat het is?

Shantyman, how big are the flowers?
The flowers are not so impressive, some 8 to 9 cm in height.

Hallo Richard, zoals aangegeven bij het openen van dit topic was het een cadeau. De gever kocht het ergens op een bloemenmarkt.

    Heb je Hollandse voorouders?
