I purchased this at my orchid society during our annual orchid auction back in September. And now look what it has gone and done
Phrag. Cardinale 'birchwood' HCCAOS (sedenii x schlmii)
...and it has another spike in bud that is just about ready to pop as well!
Didn't take it long to like your greenhouse I see! So pretty.
Very nice... love that pouch!
Very pretty colours Bruce. Love the faded green in the dorsal.
I like Cardinale!
Well done, Bruce.
WOW, I wish I could get my phrag. to bloom!
Stunning Bruce! I have no slipper orchids at all, but our local city park is clearing out their orchid collection (claiming they lack sufficient staff & volunteers to care for them) and they are offering them to our OS. There are a few Phrags being offered, two of which (Sedenii & Eric Young) are somewhat similar (although not quite so nice, perhaps) and, although I was not planning to seek any, after seeing these photos, I'm maybe changing my mind!
