    I like this complex hybrids beautiful and huge, in fact I bought during orchids fair to enjoy the flower, they grow very well here, unfortunately refuse to bloom.

    they do like a bit of a fall cool down...maybe you can do that by bringing them into an air conditioned environment

    The bulldog paphs are my favorites. Love the color and shape.

    modern bulldog breeding tends toward flat round flowers. I like Paphs that look like Paphs, not like saucers and tea cups

    They are doing the same with Phals--round & flat. Soon we won't be able to tell any of them apart! I am kidding, sort of. I still like this, though I rather share your general opinion of bulldogs. My heart likes the vini ones with warts & hairs, while my head admires the elegance of rothschildianum & philippinense. Those are paphs that look like paphs! (Did I tell you I think you have good taste?)
