Default Paphiopedilum orchids and I'm back

Hello everyone. Been a long while and a few things have been happening in the merry ol' land of oz...thus have not been around that often to sign in. We are still recovering from the shock of the devastation of the wild fires we had a couple of weeks ago, a very traumatic and emotional time for all of us in the state of Victoria. Lucky for us, the fires were at least 2 hours away and we did not experience them first hand. The summer here is harsh and we had temperatures up to 48 C centigrade!!! we have all lost numerous plants and orchids from our collections but we soldier on...and I would like to take this opportunity to send my best wishes to Victorians affected by the devastating and monstrous fires. My thoughts are with you.
On another note, I have had 2 Paphs. awarded and one just miss out thus far this year so I thought I'd share some pics.
Hope you enjoy and glad to be back!

    Love, love the first one.

I have kept an eye on the fire and heat there because one of my friends moved there 2 years ago. I hope weather condition improves soon...

Welcome back and great to see your orchids have done you proud... happy moments to keep one aware there are the good in life during these trying times.

Love the colour on that Ho Chi Minh! The villosum is wonderful... the dorsal looks like a torch. Now the third... I can see Roth in it, but what's the other parent... is it a Transvaal?

I was going to guess the third one--my favourite, btw--was St. Swithin X Harmon Andrews or St. Swithin X Iantha Stage. Of course, either of these crosses have a fair bit of Roth in them.

    Cheers,
    Rob

Thanks everyone. The first Paph. is Ho Chi Minh which of course is delanatii x vietnamense, the second is Villosum var albo marginata. The third is St Swithin x Vanguard....first flowering for all of these and was awarded for the first two (HCC)....so am a little proud of my little guys. Looks like weather is again warming up this week so here we go again.... Thank you all for your wonderful support and comments, always appreciated and great to be back to share some photos with you all.
    Cheers
