I thought this one was photo worthy. We have a few vini slippers coming into bloom now, but this one really stands out.

Paphiopedilum Hsinying Ruby Fair (Paphiopedilum Ruby Leopard 'Red Flame' x Paphiopedilum fairrieanum 'Clark')

That is really nice, I don't see many vini's without spots. I like it. THe farrieanum shows nicely too.

I really like the wig (dorsal) on this Paph; even though I like the Parvis because of their shape more. I'm starting to like Paphs in general more and more.

Thanks everyone. I am so glad you liked it. I thought it was so pretty and unique compared to the other vini-paphs I usually bloom. It seems more 'simple' with clean lines.

    Cheers,
    BD

I like this. And, although I really like fairrieanum, I have to say there are quite a lot of its hybrids I don't care for--they seem to inherit some of the worst characters from both parents. This one, though, inherited the better characteristics. Great growing & blooming, BD!

    Cheers,
    Rob
