Default barbatum var nigritum & Maude hybrid

Hey guys,

I wanted to share with you pictures of the two paphs I bought from the Orchid Society meeting about a month ago. Both were already spiking but not open. I was in Brussels and when I came back...both were open so it was a very nice surprise The barbatum is quite small compared to the Maude hybrid. As for the Maude Hybrid, its beautiful and has 7 growths and one of the other mature growths is in bud so its quite I can say that I am very pleased Enjoy!

1st pic-barbatum var nigritum (as per tag!)
2nd pic- Maude Hybrid profile
3rd pic- Maude Hybrid profile
4th pic- size comparison for both

Beautiful blooms, and really happy-looking plants! I'd say good growing & blooming, Fadi.

Cheers,

Hmmmm. I really hope so Bruce if the wooly Aphids dont get to the delenatii first. I found out that I have these nasty wooly aphids on some of my Orchids...I have to spend quite a few hours tonight cleaning, using dishwashing soap, rubbing alcohol and some some alcohol for myself to ease my task
