I really like this cross, and this particular clone has done really well. This is its second blooming with 2 flowers already open, and there are three more buds on the spike. We're going to take it to the Ft. Worth orchid show at the end of this month; I'm hoping it'll get some kind of AOS quality award. This is not the best pic, but it'll give you some idea of the thing.

excellent color on that one! I think with 5 flowers and clean markings you have a real shot.

Thanks, you guys. If we win anything, I'll definitely post! The show is in Ft. Worth, Feb. 25, so if any of you are in the area, definitely stop in and say Hey! I think they're having a butterfly show there too, at the same time, so it should be a pretty nice event.

Last time this one bloomed, petal length was around 10 inches or so. I'm really only guessing here; I never measured. But they were quite long. I bloomed another clone of this and the petals didn't come out with anywhere near the length, so I'm hoping that this one's going to be special enough. We'll see!
