Explore all the nooks and crannies. Some of the photos are just outstanding. Don't be discouraged if you can't read Mandarin--this is a unique opportunity to see unique hybrids and very rare species (e.g. P. anitum).

There are sister sites for Cats, Cymbidiums, Phals, & Bulbos. If you have trouble locating them just give a shout.
    Happy browsing

great photos there Wentworth... I persevered for quite a number of pages (and was very impressed) but found that I was looking at great pictures with no labels and was becoming annoyed at myself for not knowing what plants they are... mainly becoz I then cannot add them to my wish list. aaah well, probably better that way as I am running out of space... one thing that the website did was to make concrete what a number of people from this site has been saying about taking pics... ie black velvet! Will need to find a fabric shop asap!

    cheers

Some of those 'chids are amazing! Does make you want to learn Chinese (but not quite.)

There were phals with blooms the size of my hand, and mounted upright catts that made me drool, and paphs that were like nothing I've ever seen.

Very cool - thanks so much for sharing, Wentworth!

Tim, I cannot read Mandarin either and I know how irritating it is when you cannot know for sure what cross is before you. However if you persist and look at all the messages that follow the picture you will often find the name in Roman script. Just a tip..

Jmoney, some friends and I tried to import some Paphs from Taiwan--the paper work is in itself a deterrent--and in any case French authorities routinely refuse import permits when they even bother to look at your application. I know the problem is compounded in America by the huge backlog the USDA has accumulated.

    Dear all,
I live in Taiwan and I am also a member of this forum. It is a great forum with a lot of discuss and photosof orchids. If you need someone to translate Mandarin, maybe I can help you. The only problem is that my English is not so good.......

Hi Chian, Welcome to the forum!

Thank you for the offer of assistance with the Mandarin. I'm sure it will come in handy especially as Taiwan seems to be growing so many amazing plants these days, thanks to no CITES!

And you're english is way good! Well better than my slack-caravan-park- trash english.

Looking forward to seeing more of your posts and some of your orchids.

    Cheers
    Tim
