What do you call the things that hang down?? Petals, sepals?? Whatever....I love it when they look like this one's. Do those paphs get repeated blooming's like the red paph that gets ton's of flowers at once??

    Connie,

    They are petals.

The blooms come all at once (multifloral), hopefully at least once per year, as opposed to blooms that come one after the other (sequential). I'm not sure what the red ones are, but it sounds like you may be referring to vinicolored maudiae types, which generally get one flower per growth, but can have a lot of growths that bloom all at once.

Beautiful blooms, michael k , and so well photographed. Does it have sanderianum in its parentage with those long petals?

Those petals are amazing. Just saw your other recent slipper post. Both are wonderful first blooms. NICE!

    Cheers,
