Default My Mystery paph is about to bloom

    Hey guys,

Its been a while since I posted, but I wanted to share with you pictures of my mystery paph wich I bought about 10 months ago, not in bloom and without identification. It has many growths.

It seems to be a multi-floral one, I think since I counted three buds. I will post more pics when blooms open so that we can try to name it if possible

    Thanks for looking!

    Fadi

Thanks for your comments guys The bloom is nearly open now so I am hoping to post a pic in the next couple of days... You know that I didn't know this one was a Multifloral. I just got it with tag saying "Paph"! It has 5 new growths so I can tell you now that I am very happy with my purchase

Talking Update: The bloom is open!

The first bloom has opened and I really think it is pretty Do you guys have any idea what type of paph it could be or at least resembles. I know it could be quite difficult with so many hybrids around.

What is even more exciting is that another growth is now in bud so it should be quite a show in the near furture

    Thanks for having a look

I like it! I'd say it resembles the cochlopetalum types, but looks like it will eventually have all the buds on the spike open at the same time, so it's a multifloral, rather than sequential bloomer. It looks to be at least part primulinum, but not entirely, since the pouch shouldn't be that much striped. Perhaps primulinum or Pinocchio crossed with one of the multiflorals?

I was Actually researching a bit and it I think it looks similar to Paphiopedilum Honey (primulinum V. flavum X philippinense V. roebelinii). What do you think Rob?
