    the first micrantum, concolor and first armenicum stand out for me. The concolor has very nice triangular shape

    Yes they are, in Yunnan province.

    But I don't know if they are found anywhere else in China.

    These are all from Yunnan. They are also can be found in Guangxi, Guizhou province except Paphiopedilum armeniacum, as far as I know.

    thanks for the info.

    I just got a Paph purpuratum after volunteering for a local orchid vendor.
    I searched the internet and it says that it can be originally found in southeastern China, including Guangdong and at one time Hong Kong.

    My grandma might be referring to these because she once asked me if I grew slipper orchids. I said yes, but I never had this species until now.
