Randy, I can understand that. My philippinense has put out 2 new keikis (fans ) but no sign of a bloom, while my stoneii has put out a sheath and it's now almost 3 months and still waiting for the sheath to break. It too has put out 2 keikis that seem to grow faster than the sheath! By the way the sheath is now about 6ins long.
Wish I had the same opportunity as you to buy these paphios in bloom, but here paphios are really hard to find.

Beautiful photos and thanks for sharing.

Orchids do teach us patience, but sometimes we just got to have those blooms. I am glad you got these. Isn't it nice to enjoy them now and still look forward to blooming you other division!

    Cheers,
    BD

Some paphs especially teach us patience! Luckily we grow other plants too keep us busy during the wait.

    You have a lovely plant

randy I got a philippinense during the horti show (not the POS orchid show). It was such a bargain as the seller was selling it for only 450. I further haggled pitifully and he gave it to me for only 200 since i said i was only getting one plant and not consuming his whole supply! It was in a regular sized pot around 6 inch diameter. The thing that attracted me most was that the paph was so pot bound (specimen plant) and full and there were 5 spikes! He had dozens of those on sale. It was planted mainly with rocks and very dry so I guess that's why the philippinense had many and large blooms - they like to get pot bound and drain and dry up quickly.

I got mine for a steal as well 100 pesos.... thats why we bought it.... and yes this one
are potted in gravel. I think i saw the store that you're talking about but they're selling
theirs for 650.... too steep for my taste. but it was multi growth and pot bound. Didn't
bother to haggle for a good price. thanks for the tip on potting them.... my other
philippinense are overpotted.... maybe thats why their not blooming, but they seem
to be happy as they're sending out new growths.
