    Default paph Dianne Vickery

We visited Breckenridge Orchids last week and this is one that found a new home....another bud behind the bloom. I love the henryannum influence on this one.

Wow Gilda! That's a gorgeous bloom. I love how it got glaucophyllum's pouch, too!

Very nice, Gilda! I almost purchased a Dianne Vickery several months ago but decided it was too expensive at the last moment. Now I'm kicking myself for missing out!

Coincidentally, I spoke with Mark Rose this morning and found him to be a very pleasant man. What did you think of his greenhouse?

    Nancy,
I saw the most blooms (phals)I have ever seen in a greenhouse knock your socks off blooms......I was impressed by that !! He also had quite a few paphs, some in bloom, some in bud, some not doing anything. Are you thinking of placing an order ,or are you buying his business ???

He is a very nice man,,,, we had lunch with him that day, as we arrived about noon ,and they close for an hour....inquiring as to where to dine, he mentioned he was going for Chinese ,so he rode with us and bought our lunch ! He then put up with me drooling over his orchids till closing time(4pm)....I had a great time ,and ended up buying some great orchids ! He had a paph lowii I wanted sooooooooooooo bad ,but couldn't bring myself to spend quite that much on a paph I might /probably kill , or never rebloom it !
