    Default Phrag Living Fire October 2010

    This Phragmipedium orchid is blooming for us now. I love the intense color. I tried to get a good close up to show the little hairs on the bloom, but most of the photos turned out burly. Here are the best two.

    wow your "Living Fire" is phenomenal and aptly named! i like the besseae species and read it was good for hybridization. now i SEE that!
