I purchased this one a couple of years ago.
It's probably a very common commercial hybrid.
It dutifully produces a single flower every year again.
Nice bloom. I think it might be Paph Leeanum which is a cross of Paph insigne and Paph spicerianum.
Correct with the name, Leeanum
Beautiful paph! Thanks for the name, Angie and Roy! I need one of these!! haha...
Many thanks indeed for the name.
Yet another nametag that can be completed.
I brought a paph from Brazil with me that is very similar and I too have had the same question......the first picture is the plant i left behind in Brazil....the second is the seedling I have....It's been two + years since I've been back and it's about to put out it's first flower.
Not easy to look at but it has a srong resemblance to species. P. insigne. Could be var Harefield Hall. There is one other that is close but I can't remember the name.
I'll post pictures once the flower is here...should be a few weeks still.
