    Default Paph. Danella

IMHO a good modern complex hybrid. I had a mini-flask of half a dozen of these, and flowered them all out some years ago ; this was #4 , although not much difference between them anyway. Complex paphs are amazing in what they show, as compared to what was in the parent species, many generations before. As I often say , when writing about complex paphs , many orchid growers say they don't like them ; and my answer is that maybe they haven't seen any good ones. They never will be common or widespread because they can't be mass-produced the way other orchids can.

I really really like complex hybrids, though lost most of mine as a result of moving from Colorado to Florida. I love the big glossy flowers with the interesting coloration. Gonna have to get some again....

What a great green slipper, Geoff. I notice slight differences in the blooms of the paphs we have grown from flasks. Love the full, round shape of this one.

    Cheers,
