    I agree entirely with you, Geoff, regarding the rules and regulations and CITES etc. I have also heard of some Park rangers who have 'disposed' of confiscated plants to certain dealers. No names or places shall be named here.

    You are lucky to have escaped with only paying a fine. I can assure you that you wouldn't find it very pleasant in a police lockup (a cage, actually) where you can't even stand up to stretch.

    I agree too Geoff, some of the CITES laws are really just laughable.. At least to me

    wow! mine bloomed last december but i forgot to take a photo of it. haiist i wish to have more free time for my plants..
