    Default Paphiopedilum Mount Toro

I purchased this paph a few months ago in bud and it's now starting to open. I've seen Mount Toros at orchid shows but I hadn't quite realized how amazing they are. I'm not sure how this Mount Toro compares to others in terms of color and size but it certainly is one of the best orchids in my collection!

Don't you just love this orchid!! I think it has such a beautiful and really elegant look to it with the bold strips and rich color in the pouch. Wonderful slipper!!

That's an absolute cracker!!! Nice clean colours, esp on the dorsal. Have the petals stopped growing?

It is interesting that this hybrid should have these long petals, much longer than on the phillipinense parent or the stonei parent - relative to the size of everything else. You have a good strong plant here ! Congrats.
