Default Paph. Cahaba Angels (Deperle x primulinum'Joe Gordy')

I took this photo back in December when we first visited the slipper nursery - didn't buy this paph on that trip, but couldn't stop thinking about it. This bloom managed to drop on the way home; the plant is now sitting with my other paphs with its one rather pathetic remaining bud, so I'm not submitting THAT photo. This gives a better sense of what it looks like at its peak (and it's about 24 cm. tall). A very limited edition paph. and I'm lucky to have it. (It's tiding me over until I get that Paph. niveum I ordered from a private grower. HAD to have that - thanks, Yew!)

Quite a pastel yellow, if my monitor is displaying correctly.

Well, monitors aside, and depending on the lighting, the color is on a scale between a very pale pastel yellow, and a very creamy white - it whitens as the bloom ages. Of course, it might just be time for you to get that new monitor, Paul....
