    Default Paphiopedilum adductum, Philippine Orchids

My latest acquisition from my recent trip.

This unusual type of Paphiopedilum adductum have large bracts, dark purple stem, large leaves and produces 5 medium sized flowers (sometimes 6 flowers).

Unlike my previous specimens which are shorter and produces only 3 flowers.

    Cheers.

    Thanks Mietek.

I'm still observing this one and comparing its staminode to ordinary type.
I'm hoping that it will be different just the same case of Paphiopedilum anitum.

Flower does not open much wider compared to typical species.
