Default Phragmipedium Peruflora's Spirit (Phrag. kovachii x Phrag. Eric Young)

My greatest prize (literally) from the slipper nursery expedition. First bloom for this growth and it is 16 cm high and 9.5 cm long (although I think the dorsal sepal is still rising a bit). The stem itself is about 70 cm tall.

Phillip and I are very taken with this phrag., and I believe the photo to be one of his very best.

Hope you enjoy it - we sure do.

Maura, that's a beautiful phrag! And yes, the photo is outstanding...on a side note, does the nursery have ANY stock left after your visit?

The "Eric Young on steroids". Great flower, Maura. It looks like the kovachii's large petals were passed on to this plant.

    I love it!!!!
