This is a discussion on Two Paphs (don`t know the name) within the Paphiopedilum, Phragmipedium, Cypripedium IN BLOOM forums, part of the Orchid Photography category; ...
Very fine flowers. AL

Both are very nice!

The 1st one looks like Paphiopedilum insigne. The 2nd one is a hybrid I suppose (maybe an insigne hybrid).
Eric
Yes the first one looks like insignis but can't ID the second.
Orchids are very eloquent. They tell their master by their appearance , how they are treated.

I agree with Eric and Yew Sung. Paphiopedilum insigne is the first slipper orchid . Both are lovely. I love the carmel colors in the first one and the red of the second hybrid.
cheers,

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box!! OrchidTalk is a world community. Celebrate our Diversity!
Insigne indeed. I also have these, the second one will probably remain a NOID because these are too many similar crosses.
The second one look like Paphiopedilum gratrixianum to me.
