I have a few maudiae hybrids and have wanted one of these for a while...I was holding out until I was more confident and could 'afford' 'The Queen' so I was happy to see the tag. It was staked all screwy but it's a first bloom seedling, so hopefully it will improve. Its got nice color and a good flower size. And anyway, it's the thought that counts!

Sorry...I've been spelling as if this were a species. Bruce, if you read this, please correct the title of the thread. And to further edit, thanks to RVO, I have found the name of the plant! It is Paphiopedilum Hsinying Majakun. Assuming the thread I found through searching google images has correct info, this must be variable. And to clarify, the tag actually reads "Paph. (Maxuli-Curtisii)-Maudiae x Paph. Maudiae 'Napa Valley' HCC/AOS x sib" I thought I was doing myself a favor by shortening the tag name.....I guess not being that I had to go in and type again.
